How are the final days of cramming going for you? In the last few days coming up to exams I would encourage all students to perfect their exam day technique. Do you have a plan you always follow? Practising it will ensure you calm those nerves quickly and get right down to business of passing the exam. So here's my top 5 exam day techniques;

T4 part B is likely to be your final hurdle before becoming a full CIMA member using the ACMA, CGMA designation.  You can already see the light of this rather long tunnel, so just keep going and you can do it!

Have any of you seen the love letters written by the examiner to you the students. An alternative name are post exam guides. Examiners want to see you pass. By ignoring your love letter how else can the examiner help you. Well he/she tells you that;

ASAP is commonly referring to "as soon as possible", surely this is what exactly you want regarding passing your E3 exam!  For those of you who have been studying CIMA for a while or have been reading my blogs, you will also know that ASAP is a suggested answering approach that can help you to tackle long essay type questions.  Expert tutor Adrian Sims has demonstrated how to apply this approach using Q3 in the recent March 2013 E3 paper.  Find out more in the May FM magazine

With the May exams looming, are you clear on how to apply an ethical framework to the questions posed? Ethical issues are threaded throughout all stages of CIMA exams (below) and you will need to be able to show you would analyse the situation appropriately and respond.

Being guided through the CIMA code of ethics is key and there are a number of resources available to help you think through how to do the right thing.
