New governance report.... and more

Gillian Lees's picture

Just a reminder that if you haven't had a look yet, check out the new CGMA site at www.cgma.org as there is lots to discover.  My colleagues and I have been spending the last few months, beavering away to bring CGMAs some exciting new thought leadership reports and tools.

Click on the resources tab and you will find nine - yes, nine reports, covering a wide range of topics.  First up is the flagship launch report, Rebooting Business - valuing the human dimension, based on research of nearly 300 global CEOs and other business leaders.  It looks at the importance of measuring the non-financial aspects of business and how businesses need people with depth in their own discipline combined with a multidisciplinary perspective.

Other reports cover business intelligence, sustainability, governance, fraud risk management, business partnering, family businesses, financial leadership and performance management in the public sector.

And take a look at the tools section where there are plenty of practical tools to whet your appetite.

Happy reading!

Twelve tools to tempt you

Sorry, but I had to cut my blog short yesterday as we were all rushing out for a dinner.  First time in my life that a London cabbie went to the wrong place although I suppose 'Gaucho' does sound a bit like 'The Groucho Club'.

But anyway, what I was going to say is that, in addition to the reports, there are also twelve practical tools, again covering a range of topics such as risk, sustainability, career planning, decision-making and valuing intangible assets.  So, if you like to get straight to the action, these are for you.

So bookmark that address - www.cgma.org

Visa

Hi Syed

I hope you are enjoying your time in London!

Sitting CIMA exams during your stay should not be a problem, but I would advise you to first check the conditions of your visa with the UK Borders Agency.
