So, how is revision going for you? I am just about to finish my 2 week long revision course for strat. Most of it seems to make sense but we will see how long that lasts when the exam starts!
As usual I am most concerned about the enterprise strategy exam. This pillar has not been my favourite throughout my studies and I never really know whether I am answering the right question or not!
I quite like F3 as investment appraisals feature quite heavily. I deal with this at work so a lot of the principles are there - although in my mock exam I made a lot of simple errors!
P3 seems not too bad, but again there is a risk (!) that I misunderstand the question and so lose marks that way!
If you are worried about how you will do given the late stage, my advice would be to do lots of question practice - you will pick up the common errors and hopefully then not make them in the exam.
Also, you will improve your speed which will again be useful for time management.
Finally, I know a lot of people struggle with time management so I have a suggestion here too.
During your reading time work out how long to allocate to each question - remember 1.8 minutes per mark. Then write a start and finish time on each question (and each part if you feel you need to).
The most important bit now, is to stick to the times! If you haven't finished a question, move on! You can always come back to it later if you have time.
I have used this method in my exams and not once have I run out of time! You just have to be really strict with yourself otherwise there is no point.
Anyway, enough of my waffling. Good luck and remember the worst thing that can happen is you fail and have to resit - this will not be the end of the world, but sometimes it will feel like it!
