Your biggest hurdle will be to convince people you can do the job after such a big gap. To get a job in accountancy at the level you want you might be best off looking at temping. Tell the agency you are looking for a permanent but willing to take short term assignments. Often the temping will lead to permanent if you are any good. If I your CV landed on my desk I would be worried that you would want a high salary but would be rusty and therfore not good value for money.
