Hi,
I am AAT qualified to Technician level.  Now I decided I want to go back studying after 5 years. Hopefully CIMA gives me the exemptions and I am going to be sitting the E1 and F1 in May 2010. 
 
I was working as an accounts payable assistant  in the UK but I took voluntary redundancy 1 year ago to travel and peruse different carrier (temporarily teaching English).  I'm from Hungary and going to opt for the online option offered by BPP. 
My worry is not just not being in the UK and study in isolation, but also I am currently not working in finance and don't have any management background at all.  I understand it is a huge commitment in time and money...but is CIMA going to be impossible for me?

Should be no problem, I did technician level before CIMA as well and managed to qualify in Sep'10.  Am looking forward to my graduation cermony shortly so best of luck with your studies - it takes a lot of time, effort and money to qualify but it's worth it.
