How to Find a Mentor?

As a CIMA student who has recently migrated to Australia Melbourne I am looking for a mentor. This is really a great opportunity that allows getting more familiarity about Australia’s accounting environment and making a network of professionals. CPA Australia as a main accounting professional body has a mentor program however; participation into this program requires first a associate membership and second a part time job at least 17 hours per week. It would be great to me if anyone advise me how I can find a mentor particularly a CIMA member.
