hello to all,

my name is Ahmed from Egypt

i guss i just found some honest community to answer my question

if i want to move and work outside my country, do i have to complete all the levels of CIMA or i can be a member by passing the certificate level.

thanks

quick answer

For the majority of people to acheive work visas or permenant residency outside their own country, full membership (i.e. all the exams) is required to meet emigration criteria...

there are always exceptions!

CIMA membership

Hello Ahmed,

To become a member of CIMA you do need to have completed all the levels of our qualification, but working towards it will obviously always look good on applications. Good luck with your studies!

Warmest regards,
Adrian.

about the 3 years

hello, thanks alot for your responds, but about demonstrating three years of relevant practical experience, are these 3 years after passing all the levels or they could be during studying? i`m a financial manager for 6 years, and management accounting is relevant to my daily work, if i complete all the levels in 2012 do i have to wait untill 2015 to be full member, even if i use all the management concepts before and during studying? tanks alot a.amin

Experience

Dear Ahmed,

Practical experience can be gathered at any time, so if you already have sufficient experience you will not have to wait three years after finishing the exams.

Best regards,

Adrian.
