Working in Australia

Hi All,

I just wanted to speak to people who have made the jump to Australia, generally how they have found it, from starting the move, to finding a job, settling down, and integrating with the locals. I am seriously thinking about it but would really like to hear peoples thoughts and experiences. Any resource links would be very useful too, whether its recommended migration agents, recruitment agents etc.

I am full qualified and memebr of CIMA, and have been for 4 years, and looking at mycareer.com it seems jobs over there at a semi senior/senior position are fairly available (compared to the UK) and Accountancy is on the skilled VISA list, so it seems finding a job may not be the biggest hurdle?

Any information and opinions would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Garry
