Hmm, probably difficult to get free resources if the training is offered by an industry body itself.  Have you tried Business Source Corporate (in the CIMA member only CPD area)? I've just had a quick look to see if it had lots of aviation accounting resources, and you know what, it does have some!  For example, one of the first items I hit was an article from March 2008 commenting on the AICPA Airline Audit and Accounting Guide.  Remember you can limit your search to recent articles, to practitioner articles only, and to geographic regions.  Even if an article looks unpromising, it may have a good bibliography - or links to websites.

If you're not already a BSC user, its a great resource, includes thousands of practitioner and academic titles, many articles in full - and its all free.  Its the single best thing CIMA offer our members, in my opinion.
