Recently I started my career as a management trainee-IT in a multi-national servicing company and I have been asked to develop/ streamline the IT governance structure/framework of the entire IT department.

I just started this by reorganising IT policies and procedures with proper documentation.

would be helpful if anyone advice on the areas to be covered and steps to be taken to come up with an effective IT governance structure in probably less time.
