I am a CIMA MIP and I have dealt with a number of clients regarding Vat and Paye audits, this is the first time I have come accross a Customs Duty Audit. 

Has anyone been involved in a customs duty audit? Could you give some idea of what is involved and what the revenue look for when carrying out their audit and the level of detail they go into.

Initialy they have given a list of 10 shipments that they require detail on. Is this the limit to what they will look at subject to these been fully detailed and backup documentation being in order.
