Practical Experience online problem

Hi

I'm trying to complete my PER online and have put as much experience as will fit in the first box for my current job and have used the second box.  I am now getting the following error message:

Wrong field values or value types detected in field Description of role and responsibilities - extended. Please re-enter your field values. If you need additional assistance, please refer to the documentation.(SBL-UIF-00299) ....   

 This is because I have too much information but as my job is so varied this can't be helped - I have another 3,555 words to fit in.

What would be a better way to do it:

*send a paper version

*try to cut it down

*or put this detail in another job which has been similar and mention brief basics I signpost to the other job?

Verifyer Problems

I am also having problems, but at the back end. . . . . I have uploaded all of my application however my veryifiers have been having problems. . . . My manager has managed to verify my experience, although with difficulty due to the nature of the website. He is extremly competent in ICT (ex programmer). . . . But my previous manager has told me he has veryified it, however, it is not being recognised, he has tried a number of times also, still to no avail. . . . Therefore, is it possible to email my old manager direct with my application rather than through the website as getting concerned now since I uploaded this a number of weeks ago (about two months). . . . Has any one else had the application done and approved via this method, as getting desperate, especially with potential money issues come January and if missed do I need to repay again? . . . . I have spoken to CIMAs service desk and was given a number to phone to see about the possibilty of doing this, however only goes to an answer machine.

Verifier Issues

I have also had problems with the verifier side of it.  My proposer could not log on to CIMA with the username and password he was given - I also tried to log on with it for him as I was thinking he must be doing something wrong.  In the end had to ring CIMA who e-mailed it out to him.  He then responded to say that he accepted this.  My seconder had no problems.

 

My application still says awaiting verification though - I wonder if this is a lag due to the proposer sending it by ee-mail.   I will chase up again on Monday!

Membership application

Hi Sian,

The published turnaround time for a membership application is 6-8 weeks.

I would recommend that you call our contact centre on +44 (0)20 8849 2251 once you hit the six week mark to get a progress report, if you have not heard anything beforehand.

Hi Sian,

Just a further to my last post: thinking about it, it's actually worth contacting CIMA straight away in order to check the problem has been resolved and that the application has been verified and has entered the approval process, otherwise there will obviously be rather longer to wait.

Thanks - have done so.  Good job too as my proposers information was sat in someones inbox for a week and had not been processed.  Have been informed it was sent off for assessment on Monday this week so now I just have to wait! :0)
