Hi,

When are the further details going to be announced so I can apply to join the Msc Strategic Business Management at MMU? It seems a great opportunity and I would like to make sure I don't miss out (and before someone else steals my training budget).

CIMA update

Hi 

Apologies to CIMA members waiting to register for the MSc in Strategic Business Management with MMU. We've had some problems with the interface between the elearning and hosting devices which we are working hard to overcome.  

To ensure a top quality delivery and reception, the registration is being rescheduled for June 2012 (rather than March 2012).

Students keen to register can use this three month period to investigate the topics they are considering for their dissertation project and undertake an initial trawl of the available literature.  

A formal message will be posted on the CIMA and MMU sites next week. 

In the meantime, if you have questions please feel free to message me directly and I'll do my best to help.

Dear Claire,

I am amazed and disappointed in myself for being surprised at yet another stumbling block on the way to a CIMA led eduacation.

Fortunately, you do not place any emphasis on the effective use of IT systems and technology in your syllabus - otherwise it would come across as quiet ironic.

It amazes me that such publications regarding availability of continual professional development courses are posted onto your website prior to being thoroughly researched and tested.

It would appear to me that urgent realisation that CIMA students and members are dependant upon the services and information you provide is required.

I should hope anybody entertaining the idea of registering with CIMA are not put off by such incidents.

CIMA update

We echo your frustration but we needed to ensure equal access for all students and the highest quality educational experience regardless of location.

This has meant a delay in registration to the MSc but this need not delay your search for a dissertation topic.

CIMA members can use Business Source Corporate to aid their initial topic search and refinement.
