Venue centre

Hi,

Does anyone know how to complain about a venue centre?

Venue Centre

Sorry to hijack your thread but I would like to know this too

The last three exams I have attended I have been seated near the front, The exam envigilators have chatted all the way through about inane subjects like 'how bad the traffic is', conversations they dont need to have, I find this really distracting, I notice from my entry slip I'm sitting near the front tomorrow too :(

I appreciate that it is probably quite a boring day for them, but who can I speak to about it, I dont want to mention it to them directly as I know that this wont put me in the right frame of mind for the exam

Exam venues

Hi Ashley and Karen,

We run a special feedback inbox during and immediately after each exam sitting.

You can use this to give us feedback about the exam papers and our exam venues.

Contact details
E. exams.talkback@cimaglobal.com

Comments received will be forwarded to the relevant examiners. You will receive an acknowledgement of your comments and/or a response within ten working days.

Comments sent to the talkback inbox are completely independent of the marking process.

Please note that the talkback inbox exists to gather feedback. If you feel that your performance in an exam was adversely affected by illness or bereavement, you should follow our procedure for appeals for special consideration.

I have moved this discussion topic to the new 2010 syllabus boards for better visibility.

I hope this helps!

Best wishes,

Elisabeth

My invigilator fell asleep

Talked loudly, interrupted me halfway through my reading time asking why i was writing on my exam paper...

Complete moron......yet here i am taking a world-wide qualified exam..

Disgraceful...

Complaint

Were you at the centre that had workmen banging, making lots of noise and obviously having more than me?

Alarm :)

This isn't a complaint just something slightly funny.

In my venue (Slough) an alarm went off part way through the exam - probably lasting 3 or 4 minutes - though everyone carried on writing. Towards the end I looked back over my answers and in what I was writing around the time of the alarm I had written 'fire' where I meant to write 'first' - probably after 4/5 times :)

Wonder what the marker would have made of it if I hadn't spotted it?

disruption

Hi we had a car alarm going off for about 20 minutes and the main invigilator announced over the microphone for the owner to go and turn it off. Also someone's mobile went off. Is this a good case for exceptional circumstances do you think?
