Hello all, 

 I'm just about to start studying with CIMA at Certificate level. My understanding is that the new syllabus will some come into effect but I am still about to take the exam for the 2006 syllabus up until the 30th June 2012.

  I also managed to grab a bargain collection of all the study texts, cd-roms, etc for the certificate level from a friend of a friend. My worry is that these books, although printed in the UK are American (well, they use $ rather than £) however, as CIMA is international it may just be the case that the $ is the standard unit of currency.

 The books I have were all published by BPP in February 2010. My questions are firstly, am I correct in thinking that my books are valid for the UK exams (2006 syllabus) and secondly am I correct in assuming that I can sit the certificate (2006 syllabus) up until 30th June 2012?
