You may find the 2012 Exam time table here. The Gateway Exam (CMGA) will take place on 22 May (PM) and 20 Nov (PM).

Anyone joined bpp or Kaplan yet for the CMGA?

Im thinking of joining Kaplan, costs about 500quid and they look quite structured in terms of study material & online courses. Unfortunately there are no classroom lectures, but tutors are available online.

Hi Everyone,

I am also preparing to sit the May exam and honestly nervous already!! I have been working so far using only the online materials and focusing on F2 A / P2 B . E2 B but also covering the entire syllabus as well.

It has been going ok but I am realising I definately need to get some of the practice kits/exam preparation kits as I think practice, practice, pratice is going to be the key.

However, can anyone recommend any particular edition? I was thinking of buying the kits for each course but I see there are also CMGA prep kits? Does anyone have any of these and how are they working for you?

I would love to keep in touch - some areas have been much harder than others and would love to be able to ask each other questions and support.

Hi everyone,

I have registered in CMGA and willing to sit for May exam. But really struggling with the Study materials.

Can anyone provide any details, from where can I buy Book / e-Books or on it?

And if I miss the May exam can I use the same materials for Nov. sitting?

Dear moderator,

I would have thought that the most basic thing CIMA could have done for its CMGA students is to be clear about the syllabus.

Specifically for the cimastudy.com materials, which chapters refer to each question for the 3 large questions.  There is some discussions and opinion on these forums but an official CIMA answer would be useful as everything else is mere speculation.

It is infuriating at this stage to still be guessing chapters.  I regret ever registering for the CMGA when such basic info is not provided.
