Hi
I am also looking to do strategic level however I live in Australia now so online is my only option anyones feedback on Acorn or Cima online would be appreciated. Thanks Sharon
Hi
Was just wondering if anyone had used Reed or Acorn classroom courses, I will hopefully be taking the 3 stratigic papers in may and would prefer to do a classroom based tuition rather than online (used bpp online classroom and was not that impressed).
They are both cheaper than Bpp and Kaplanc but I am worried that I will be sacrificing quality for cost.
Would appriciate feedback from anyone who has used either of them.
Thanks

I tried using Cima Study for E2, did not find it to helpful as it was just a case of reading off the screen. I gave up using it after a few weeks. did use Bpp online classroom was not great but better than cima study.
Hope this helps
Hi JW,
I was studying via BPP home study package for managerials and failed as many times as I passed. With 3 attempts at P5 Intergrated management and thinking I would never get there, I enrolled at Reed for the full link course (tuition, revision and QBD). I passed with a really good mark. I didn't hesitate using them again for all 3 strategics (passed all first time in May) and Top Cima (first time pass in September).
With any method, you have to be totally focussed and committed to succeed, but Reed certainly worked for me.
All the best with your strategics which ever provider you choose....

Hi
I sat TOPCIMA with Reed in September last year and it was quite a big investment for me in terms of costs and time away. However, it paid off and I passed. I found that the tutor really made you think in the class room which helped me to develop my analysis skills.
The other students were very sociable and the Business School at Little Compton is set in a beautiful location.
Hi
In the November sitting I used First Intuition online course for P2 and Acorn for E2.
I found First Intuition excellent, really well presented and first class support.
I found Acorn to be adequate enough but would probably not use them again - I know that for P1 the online "lectures" were mainly read word for word from the text which I didn't find particularly useful, for E2 though it was far more lecture like.
Hope that helps.
Hi all
I am currently writing a short article on distance learning for Velocity and wondered if any of you had any feedback on distance learning that you would like to share. The article is generic and will not refer to specific distance learning providers.
In particular I would like to know if this type of learning worked for you, and if so why? What factors made you choose the distance learning option? Would you use distance learning again? What advice would you give to other students thinking of studying via distance learning?
Any feedback would be gratefully received, if you would like to reply to me directly please feel free to do so.
Many thanks

I went to Reed a few years ago.
I loved it and scored my best mark of any paper so far.
It is quite expensive though, beware all of the prices in the brochure are +VAT!
Hope that helps
Beware of thier shining advertisement on front page of CIMA's website and FM,
Find them complete waste of money as tutors for E3 and P3 are not experienced and are unable to provide you techniques and strengths required to pass these two papers.
