i failed in P2 ppr bt i accept that failure coz i knw i didnt do wht examier wants bt for F2 m shocked

apologie to cima but i have disuccsed what i feel

Passed

I passed with 60 marks, really pleased good luck to everyone else.

2 Passes & 1 Fail

Passed:

P2-55% (1st time)

F2-57% (1st time)

Failed:

E2-37%  (3rd or 4th attempt and apparently getting worse!?)

I hate this exam and now need to work out if I resit in March and take the three stratigic papers in May or not.  Stupidly, I now don't feel like I can sleep.

Very Happy

E2 - 50

F2 - 67

P2 - 79

First attempts while working full time and self studying... I'm thrilled!

Happy!!

P1 - 56 first time

 F2 62 first time

So so happy!! Hard work pays off :-)

Happy!

F2 - 70%, very happy with that!

F2 Exam

F2- Passed 77% delighted.

UNHAPPY

Congratulations to all exam successes!

I passed my P2 paper, thank crunchie.

However I am miffed that CIMA listed me as ABSENT from the F2 paper!?!?!?!?!?!

I was there!  My wife was waiting at the exam venue and watched me go into the exam hall, where one of her colleagues sat the same exam and saw me in there.  Yep, I was definitely there.  Have emailed a copy of my attendance slip to CIMA assessment.faculty team but as yet no response.  If they've lost my script what happens?

Failed F2 Nov 12 - 48%

Hi All,

Firstly, Congratulations on all of you that passed F2 as well the other papers you sat!

For those of you in the same boat as me, just remember we still have an opportunity in March which is only around the corner and the results will be out on the 22nd March, so we wont have too long to wait our turn and celebrate!!!

I've never done a resit paper, has anyone got any advice the best way to tackle this ....what have you done in this position i.e approach, stratety etc? All oppinions welcomed

Best of luck

Christopher NAVARATNAM

F2 - Passed

Passed F2 with 65 very happy ! onwards to Strategic now !!!

F2 failed

Congratulations everyone who passed. Sadly I have failed F2 with 40% which was horrible to see as I have never failed anything before in my life. Now I am done sulking and will resit, however I am unsure whether it is worth paying extra to resit in March or just wait until May and sit it with E2 which I was doing in May regardless.

Again well done to all who passed, you obviously deserve it and worked a lot harder than I did which I will learn from

UNHAPPY TOO

I CONQUER WITH Owen.

However, what is the practice with CIMA when they have already shown you as ABS,and how long does it take to respond to ones email...I am not at peace!

Management Level

Congrats to those who passed their exams. Better Luck next time for those who failed.

People did well in F2 this time, with Students getting 70+ marks  which shows they were Conceptually well prepared, F2 paper was more "EXPLAIN" instead of "PREPARE" or "CALCULATE" type which was tough for those who lacked the Understanding of main F2 Topics.

My Result in Nov2012

 E2  54%
 F2

69%

I hoped to get above 60% in both Subjets but E Pillar is tradionally low Scoring. Next Target is going to be P2, my last in Management Level + Going to Study E3 (Strategic Level) in advance as I think it is the Toughest in Strategic Level.

F2

Congrats to all that have passed F2..

a big fat FAIL for me, 2nd time I've failed this paper..

Not really sure where i went wrong - and unfortunately we never find out.. I sit these papers in NZ, we get no support, we don't have any tutors, and of course we get no feedback..  Plus all these papers are hand written, they costs a fortune to sit - and we have no "resit" opportnity in March - only may / nov sittings for us.

Anyway I'm giving up - have wasted too much time and money on this.. Time to go out and do something 'modern' ..  the only times i 'hand-write' for 3 hrs is in these exams, I pity the poor markers reading my mess - I expect thats why I don't get enough 'legible' marks - i certainly think i know the answers.. (anytime im consolidating or calc anything in the real world I'd use excel, oh when did that come out? hmm let me think - probably before some of you were born... )

Enough whinging from me, good luck folk..

I have figured out over my past few papers that presentation is one of the key things for markers so I made sure I have laid out my workings nearly, underline my answers and make sure the markers can follow what I have done.

The markers are marking hundreds, possibly thousands of papers in a short period and probably get frustrated trying to find your answers so if it is displayed clearly, they are more likely to give more marks.

If you have realised that you have answered a whole question completely wrong (happens to me quite often!), put a simple cross through it and start on a fresh page. Don't worry about wasting paper!

Don't give up! Halfway there!

You made some first rate factors there

Hello, Congratulations to everyone who passed F2. I was wondering if there is anybody who would like to sell me F2 Course notes, revision kit anything they have with relate to F2 Exams. I would be really thankful. Also if it is still valid for 2014. Please advise. Thanks Namrata kiri
