Strategic Level - 3 papers at 1st sitting

Hi,

Can anyone advise me the reason why we have to take all 3 Strategic Papers at our first sitting pls? Thanks in advance.

The simple reason is because CIMA tell us to do so.

I personally can't see the logic in it.

Yes. It's CIMA's rule. Similar rule was in ACCA those days, but they have abolished it. Perhaps (considering future business & market penetration purposes ;) ) CIMA too may consider to abolish this rule. However I think all three papers are now examined based on a common case study and I think that makes CIMA qualification really stand out from the rest :-)
