F1 Exam 24th November

Hello

I'm a CIMA exam virgin and will be taking the F1 exam tomorrow morning. (Very nervous!) For anyone who has taken papers already, do you get working out paper as well as the question and answer booklet or do you do draft workings on the question paper?

Hi Charl, you don't get extra paper, just the question paper and the answer booklet. You can scribble to your hearts content on the question paper, but show as much of your workings in your answer booklet as you can, including draft ones - you could get marks for them! Just head them up as 'workings for Q2a' for example, and cross reference / number them as you go along if you can, to the main answer, eg W1 in your workings to the figure you put in the main answer. If you really don't want the marker to look at the working, just cross it through. And last... Good luck, you'll soon be an old hand at CIMA exams!
