This may be a daft question but with the 2 mark questions in section A Is it safe to assume 1 mark is for a correct answer and 1 mark for the workings?
Only reason I ask is if you are one of the people who take the reading time to effectively answer section A questions doing workings on the question paper, can you literally just write the question numbers and A, B, C or D once the exam time starts or do you need to re-write your workings to pick up both marks?
I've been told by multiple lecturers that the 2 mark questions have absolutely no marks for workings. Therefore we were advised to use the reading time to work out the answers on the question paper and then transfer the answer letters A, B, C & D to the answer sheet when the exam begins.
If there are any 3 or 4 mark questions then these do have marks for workings.
