We are almost in the same boat. Am positive on this study groupwork plan. I am in the south west of London. Hearing from you soon, please.
Thanks.

Hi All,
I am due to take P1 and F1 in May 2011 (P1 for the 4th time now).
I believe that if I can get a group of studdy buddies together we can really smash CIMA as the difficulty here is the amount of material to take in. By discussing and 'arguing' the points in the quesiton papers and syllabus I believe these papers can be passed as I've had too many near misses with P1.
I have noticed that people studying for MBAs or at universities who do really well (1sts) use this technique of studying together in small groups combined with their own study and question papers.
Please anyone interested and serious about getting together for a couple of hours a week get in touch. I live in West London but I have no problem traveling to other parts of London.
Thanks,
SlimCat

Can we indeed put together alot of questions for P1 for the 11th May question time.
The group discussions would indeed push some of us through. I am in africa, Malawi to be precise and would be greatfull to hear minds from other parts of the Globe.
Seems like there is no willingness or it is not practical to form real study groups. So I guess we'll have to use this discussion forum as the next best thing.
Hi Wardah.
With E1 you can score highly in that. You are probably well into your studies but the cima study online study is very good for the E pillars (not for P pillars). My advice would be to focus on the section c questions. When I was answering them in practice I was finding I was not really answering what they wanted so you need the practice questions to get used to the style of examining and questions. Otherwise you can write pages and pages of non relevant answers.
Good luck
Hi Teddie,
Ok I'm up for putting together a lot of quesitons for P1. We can collate together. I've already posted some questions on NPV somewhere else on the forum.
Thanks
Hi SlimCat,
I am a BPP student preparing for P1 in May and think Studdy Buddy is a good support system to maximise our chances of passing - a serious priorty for me. I live in Ilford approx 30 mins from central London. Please let me know if it's ok to join forces with your group.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
