A new group for students at CIMA Operational Level has been created. The group will focus on the Operational Level subjects, topics of interest, exam tips and brainstorming ideas. I have failed both exams E1 mark 39 and P2 29
I worked hard and felt prity confident going into the exam, thought i had done well. Guess i wont be enjoying the rest of my summer now..
Not sure what to do for the next stage studying, to improve for the November sittings. anybody any ideas or tips of what works best

Have you thought of taking P2 exam in September? It would cost you more then the ones in November, BUT it is sooner, only 3 weeks to wait for the results and less stress for November exams.
I am in the same situation with P1 and F2. Failed both and worked really hard. F2 I though was hard and wouldn't be surprised if I failed, but I've done better then P1 (according to examiners).

Yes was definately thinking about the September Sitting, though im from Northern Ireland, and by the looks of it, they dont have any centre over here that will take the resits, dont think ill bother with the travelling.
Its so annoying when you have put alot of hard work in. Im going to just jump in with them again for November and hope for the best.

Hi,
I also failed E1 and also failed it under the old syllabus.
Will resit in November along with F1. Already started on F1 but could do with a study buddy mainly for E1 as I find it hard to focus on this paper.
Anyone wanting a study buddy in Manchester area?
Would welcome some company whilst working through these papers as currently self funded and therefore do not attend classes.
Sat P1 and passed first time so pleased with that one!

I know the feeling, as I've was studying really hard too. I had funny feelings about F2, but I've done better then P1 (still failed though) as either wasn't enough.
Good luck for November though, at least you know (kind of) what to expect from the exams or examiners.

You too - all the best for November . your right though, ya kinda know what to expect now - as the examiners were new for May and no one not even the Tutors knew what to expect.

Is anyone studying with Kaplan?? - if so and they have failed the May exams E1 and P1 - Do you have any suggestions of what to do next for the November exams on how to improve to make sure pass next time
