How to sit T4 on PC in an open centre

Hello,

I would like to sit for the T4 exam on PC, in May'12. I will be doing online/distance learning with TopCimaPass, hence I will need to sit in an "open centre".

I have seen the list of open centres for the Feb/Mar'12 exam, which is available in http://www.cimaglobal.com/Students/Exams/. Hopefully the list is also valid for the May exam.

I want to sit in London, so I have e-mailed T4examentry@cimaglobal.com and I am waiting for their reply.

Is this the correct way to enrol into the PC exam?

I know I can go to MyCima and enter an exam, but I feel that the list provided there is for the paper-based exams. Am I correct?

Yes, this is the first step for enrolling at an open centre. The exam events team are currently very busy with the March exams. Don't worry!

T4 on Pc in Birmingham

Hi Rebecca,

 

Do you think this is now too late to book T4 on PC in Birmingham? There is no phone contact for open centre in Birmingham and I am not sure how quickly the contact person will reply to my email. I have been on holiday, just got back and have not had too much time left to book my exam.

Can you please advice?

There shouldn't be a problem - exam entry for the PC exam doesn't close until April. Get your email in as soon as possible though, as it's first come first served!

Hi Rebecca,

I am conscious that the PC exam entry for an open centre is on a "first-come first-served" basis, that's why I e-mailed T4examentry@cimaglobal.com in early February.

However, the answer I received was that there was no rush at all. I was adviced to send them another e-mail in early April and ask for the London open centre entry form. They told me I should not be concerned, and that if I request the form in early April I will certainly get a place.

Now, you left me a bit worried with your comment! Maybe I should get back to them again?!?

Better early than late I always say! :)

London open centre bookings are managed by CIMA so there are usually plenty of spaces available, but some of the centres outside London are quite small.

Hello Rebecca,

I'm still trying to get a place for the T4 May'12 exam on PC, in London.

On March 23th (after numerous e-mails, since February 2nd) I was informed that there was a new list for exam centres, now available in http://www.cimaglobal.com/Documents/Exam%20centers%20web%20form%20May%202012.pdf

I e-mailed the London open centre straightaway. After I got no answer, I insisted. Again no answer, so I called them just now, and they told me they do not do CIMA T4 exams!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you please advice me what to do??? I am extremelly frustrated that, despite having tried to get a place since February 2nd, the deadline is approaching and I am not even near to get a place confirmed.

Our team dealing with the centres have informed me that you should  email

T4examentry@cimaglobal.com and they will send you a form.
