Life after Part B ...

So the invoice has come and its a huge jump from the normal old student fee, considering i've not finished my PART A and therefore can't call myself qualified (not even a passed finalist..) what benefit does the increase in membership fee warrant?

I cant see no benefit, especially after the October 2011 designatory letters have been released and that stops at level 2 (E2,P2,F2) nothing for strats and nothing for part b

therefore can someone please answer why is there a jump in fee? with no extra benefit? I'd understand it i think if i was allowed to use some form of letters to identify i had finished my exams or even reinstate the passed finalist.

Thanks in advance

I've discussed this a few times before so I won't cover the same ground about why they introduced this.  If you've got the experience then it's not a problem.  It acts as an incentive to get qualified; however, if you don't have the experience already you would be better leaving Part B until you do.  Unfortunately, it comes as a nasty shock to some people having completed Part B without realising the consequences.
