Papy - Industry examples

I am sitting the T4 exam in November (Papy), and am struggling to know what sort of industry examples i need. Can anyone be of any help with what sort of examples you are learning off - I hear you need about 30-40, I'd never remember that amount of statistics, or are they general ones? Thanks

Hi Kiara,

You only need 5 diversity points which need to be used to illustrate your point, they can't simply be dropped in. You don't need to know specific statistics, just need to know an example where something similar has been seen in the real world - it's just to show you are aware of what's happening in Business in real life rather than just solving CIMA scenarios.

Hi Mel,

Thanks for your reply - I understand why we have to use them and that they need to be specific, just having trouble finding them and worrying that I will remember all the statistics, eg "Co-op reduced the number of single-use plastic bags by 66% since 2006" - no chance i'll be able to remember 30 of these, but i have been told that general examples such as "Co-op reduced single-use bags significantly" will earn me marks.

Hi Kiara

I have just gone through some of the Annual Reports which you can download from Supermarket's websites,the most useful ones with lots of examples about community,environment etc were Walmart,Sainsbury,Tesco & Carrefour

I know its quite hard to remember all of them as i struggle as well
