T4 - Preparation before taught courses

I have signed up for a taught course for the T4 case study which only begins at the end of March.  I have read the case study and associated articles, and done quite a bit of research on the Toy Industry but would welcome some guidance as to what else would be valuable to do beforehand?

Dear Rhiannon,

It seems that you are on the right track.  Before your class, you may want to brush up your technical skills and go over some models such as SWOT, PEST, Mendelow's stakeholder matrix, Johnson & Scholes' SFA test, Porter generic strtegies and Ansoff's growth strategies.  Useful calculations to know include: Investment appraisal (NPV, IRR, EPS), Marginal costing, Budgeting, Variance analysis, basic financial ratio.
