I strongly recommend online tutors from TOPCIMAPass.com. In summary they are very good, supportive, cheap and they have very high pass rates. I used them and just got my results yesterday -Passed.

For as little as about £300 you get all materials,tution, podcasts,industry articles, one-to-one sessions and at least 9 mocks. 4/5 of them are marked and you get detailed feedback.

I used Reed business school. They were great. They typically use BPP papers and notes and tutors from either BPP or Kaplan who freelance.

But the school is an old manor house in the countryside in the Cotswolds. Its a great location and not too far from you. Strongly recommend. Its difficult to do topcima on computer without a school - and I certainly preffered doing it on a PC. Much easier to change things (cut and paste) and the formatting looks better!

This is my 9th attempt at TOPCIMA and manage to pass after joining TOPCIMAPASS.com. Prior to that, most of it ..I self study and failed.

The support provided by topcimapass.com is very useful for a working mother like me. I agree with comments made by Felix and David. Good luck, Andy. 

I have previously used BPP and 7City distance learning services.  Any suggestions for T4 distance learners not based in the UK would be greatly appreciated.

I have used Reed before and they are excellent, but i think maybe abit steep at £900 for one exam.... I'll do some begging from my employer and see if I can extract any cash! If not, if will definitely be topcimapass.

 I can seriously tell you that Topcimapass.com is not a scam. I studied with BPP for T4 for the PC March and forked out £1400 and it is in no comparison to the service, mocks and personal support from both Channa and Angela.

I was very unsure about forking out £300 for T4 studies for May......... but seriously, it is worth every penny... it is not easy as the mocks are challenging but the detailed feedback and the access to other students also writing and industry experts should you have further queries is really helpful.

You can contact me if you think this is a scam... But i sat my 2nd attempt in May studying with TOPCIMAPASS and have passed! so it's over for me! :)

Surely if you paid £1400 on a BPP you would have a free revision course if you failed?

I opted for the weekend classes at BPP in croydon.... as i'm a contractor... so for me no work = no pay. Paying £1400 at BPP from my my own pocket, so when i failed the 1st time i was devastated......

I contacted BPP about the free revision course and it was such a mission to get info out of them. Finally after someone calling me back, the free revision class was 2 mocks being held on weekdays... which i could not take the time out of work to do.

So for me... I was reluctant to pay another £300 over to Topcimapass....... but it was worth absolutely every penny. They even prepare a personalised timetable taking you up until the exam...

It's really up to you though... I can only compare BPP and topcimapass. The service and feedback I received from Topcimapass was far more superior and the daily calculations and issues that were in the media really put a different spin on things which i did not find that BPP touched at all. The detailed feedback on mocks and marking explanations force you to better yourself in areas where the marker feels you need improvement.

So it's your call.. All i can do is refer them based on my experience...

From what I can see, topcimapass.com is the only option I have for a course provider as a distance learner.

 Kaplan Live Online is an option for anyone studying CIMA (including T4) remotely. I've posted the link to an open evening which shows how the course works. It is equivalent to a Kaplan traditional classroom course - using the same materials/mock exams/tutors.

Please note that I do work for Kaplan, so I'll leave it up to you to decide whether this option suits your needs.

 Like you I didn't know what to expect and posted a similar comment to this before I joined TCP. Basically they give you a big pre-seen overview, summarising the main/impiortant points from the pre-seen and a financial analysis of the pre-seen. Then they give you a test on this, then documents to read on how to structure your answer in the exam as there are sections you need to complete and how to pick up easy marks.

Then there are 8 mock exams, of which 4 are marked and you get feedback from the tutor on your answer and where to improve.

All through this there are areas on the forum where people post relevant news articles and TCP post a daily calculation to help prepare for the exam. There are also podcasts from the head tutor whcih you download. They can send a timetable of when stuff needs to be completed. They also provide documents on how to priortise the issues in the exam as this is one of the most important areas to get right.

I sat with TCP in May, my first sitting of T4 and got 70%. I chose them as I live in Australia and there are no colleges here which hold classes for T4 and no one else had distance learning options then.

I think they are a wonderful and affordable!  I can say that none of them is a scam!

You get to share ideas, mocks and to get the opinion of specialists on various areas! The personal contact from the Tutors makes you feel the need to improve on your performance!!!

Judging by the prices of the other providers and what they provide, I can say that this is a better deal!
