Did you ever think posting contact details online might be good idea? Well think again - that information is easily abused by others...
We ask you not to publish email addresses, home addresses and phone numbers (and other personal details, like date of birth or bank card numbers) on the site as this is private information and sharing it publicly online is very risky.
Publishing your personal details online risks identity fraud, spam, harrassment, theft and a whole host of other unpleasantness... so our moderators may remove them from the site.
But do yourself a favour and please don't put them up here, because we may not notice in time and the damage may already be done! If you see someone else has done so, that's your chance help them and us - use the 'report content' button to alert us.
Discussions on CIMAsphere will be open to the whole world soon to read and join, when we go public in the summer, so even just posting your email address online risks attracting a lot of spam.
HOW TO USE THE WEBSITE MESSAGING FACILITY
Instead of publishing your email address (which is against our guidelines), there's the option to allow other CIMAsphere users to send you a message using our website messaging facility.
> Go to the Profile page of the person you want to contact, and click on the 'Contact me' link under their profile picture. From there you can post a private message which they will receive via email. You will only get their email address if they reply. This allows each person to control their privacy and personal data.
> In the Account Settings area of your Profile Manager, you can chose to be contactable this way by ticking the 'Personal contact form' box.
There's more information and advice on privacy, and other issues in our Community Guidelines. Do let us know if you have any thoughts on them!

Hello Ahmed,
I have looked at your account and you should already be able to send messages to other users by following this process for each person:
(1) Go to the profile page of the person you want to get in contact with.
(2) Then look in the right hand column of their profile page for the block titled 'Contact Me', and click on the link that says 'Get in contact'.
(3) That should take you to a form where you can compose and send the email to the person you want to contact.
Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further difficulties.
Regards,
Deirdre

Hi,
I keep being asked to update my email address each time I try to contact someone....where does this need to be done?
Help please!!
Regards,
Trevor
Hi Trevor,
Sorry to hear about these difficulties you've been having. I have looked at your CIMAsphere account and there is no email address associated with it so you cannot send or receive messages, and that is why it is asking you to update it.
Could you click on your name > My profile > Account settings and do this? If you cannot, please email me on sphereinfo(AT)cimaglobal.com
I think I know the cause of the problem. You first logged in with a contact ID and password that you already had as a MYCIMA user, but there were two or more email addresses associated with that record we already had, which the CIMAsphere system would have entered as no email address, because it doesn't know how to separate email addresses in the data that is sent over from our CRM system when a "single sign-on" account is made allowing access to both CIMA websites.
If you email me, we can hopefully get this sorted out pretty quickly.

Deirdre

Dear All,
Our personal data is never safe from hackers, insider-job and mis-used of it by other ppl.
But we can run checks, check with respective central bank our pledge and debt level. Any mis-used of identity can be made known soon.
Check our banks' balances( statement/online ) and credit cards statement spending details for any fraudulent usage or mis-used of our saving/current accounts.
In my personal opinion, try not to use mobile internet banking, once activated, robbers might used it for transferring victims' monies to their bank accounts.
The above regular review/update will prevent misuse of personal data and reduce risk of fraud.
