CBA is now available in Toronto: http://www.lsbf.ca/programs/acca/testing-centre/

Students can register for their exams online. Alternatively, students may email cbeexams@lsbf.ca

I’m Julia Harrison and I work in CIMA's Education Department. Look out for blogs from me on studying and taking the exams. This is the first in a series of blogs focusing on the Certificate level.

Whether you have one or all five subjects to take – now is the time to concentrate on completing your Certificate level this year and adding another qualification to your name.

Is it just my account or is it an error? The drop down menu does not show the 2011 CBA qualification option. I just gave my C04 test and passed it, yet it doesn't show that in my account yet.

What could be the problem here?

    Hi,

I am about to do the CBA exams but have read that a lot of the exam questions bear little resemblence to the study text and revision kits.

Is this an accurate potrayal ?

I am using BPP study text / revision kits and I have the CIMA versions as well.

Hi, can anyone please tell me how I go about booking a CBA through BPP for May for TOP CIMA?  I have booked a course but no one seems able to tell me how to book the exam!  As paper based entry closes 15th march but CBA closes april 15th, I don't want to miss the window for paper based entry if CBAs are all booked up by the time I hear back from someone!  Very surprised that no one at BPP is able to tell me how to book!

    Hi All,

I am selling my certificate level resources (study text, practise and revision kit, MCQ cards).

They are all BPP study materials which I have found very useful when learning the course. I have passed C01, C04, C05 modules first time. Hopefully, I will pass C02 first time, all I need to do is book the exam.

Majority of the resources are in very good condition.

I have placed them on Amazon website. Please follow the below link.

    Hi,

I was suppose to take CBA exam yesterday, however, the token is not able to be used in all the computers in the exam hall.  The examinator told me that they are not sure when they can call me back to take the exam again.  Have anyone encountered similar problem before and how soon the examinator will call you back to sit for the exam?  Any reimbursement for your leave if you are under employed?

I am an independant learner, i.e. I am not enrolled with any course provider, and want to sit the November T4 Case Study exam on a PC. I have been told that none of CIMA's Open Centres will be offering the PC exam in November, so I have contacted Kaplan and BPP. BPP will not allow me to sit the exam at their centres as I am not one of their students.

    Hey All,

I'm resitting P3 in Sept 2010 with CIMA's computer bassed assesment. I didn't take any course to familiarise myself with what to expect on the day (a decision I am starting to regret). I understand that Microsoft Word & Excel will be used on the day.

    Hi all,

I've just finished reading and answering the CIMAstudy book for my first CBA (C01). I am about to start revising/summarising each chapter, and will then complete all the practice questions in the back.

    I have two questions:

    1) How far in advance do I need to book my exams? (48 hours enough?)
    2) Do centres have slots for these exams, or can you choose to sit it at any time when they are open?

It has been almost a month since my last blog which was not the plan but this studying and working thing is tough!

Just to remind you all I was a week away from attempting the Economics CBA and despite 4 days of lectures which were excellent I was not feeling overly confident but thought I had just about grasped the main concepts.

    Hi all,

It wasn't going to be long before someone posted about this!

I was just wondering whether CIMA have any plans in place in the event of a TOPCIMA CBA (Computer-Based Assessment) candidate being struck down with this virus and was unable to attend the exam on 2nd September?
