Hello
I'm doing C1 tomorrow and never thought to ask what time the CBA starts... can anyone enlighten me??? I have trawled the internet with no luck!
Fairly urgent....
thanks.
Have you recently registered with CIMA and about to start your Certificate studies? If so, welcome! Maybe you've already begun studying and are part way through the level or, even better, have only one assessment left to take.
Beginning or finishing this level, it's equally important to keep focused and determined.
I'd like to introduce you to another of my colleagues - Julia Harrison, who you may already know from the CIMAsphere discussion boards.
I’m Julia Harrison and I work in CIMA's Education Department. Look out for blogs from me on studying and taking the exams. This is the first in a series of blogs focusing on the Certificate level.
Whether you have one or all five subjects to take – now is the time to concentrate on completing your Certificate level this year and adding another qualification to your name.
Hi there,
I want to know if one can get a job based only on CIMA's CBA?
Hello,
I am looking to sell pretty much unused entire kits for all the first 5 examinations. Many of the kits will include everything listed on BPP's site for each module (example below):
http://www.bpp.com/learning-materials/our-products/accounting--finance/c...
And even more including some classroom material. Some bits will be used, however is in good condition.
They were bought for the exams in 2010 and beyond, so are still in date.
Hi,
I have recently signed up to the Distance Learning Course with Kaplan and their recommended study path was to do the C02 first. I am AAT qualified however I passed these exams about 5yrs ago so decided to start at Certificate level at CIMA.
I completed strategic level in May, just wondered do we get a certificate at this level? i assumed we would after getting one after both operational and managerial but nothing has arrived yet...
I just passed my Certificate level exams and was wondering; will my percentages in my exam be mentioned in the certificate that I receive?
Thanks!
hello
can anyone shed some light on the cba exam fees.
i know cima charge £45 for the certificate level exams, but do the centres also charge?
i only ask as when i went to book one at BPP, it came up £70! so does this mean i am to pay £115 just to sit an exam?!!
i am already paying for this all myself and the tuition fees are draining me enough.
anyone with sensible answers would really help me.
thanks a lot
ptakki :)
Hi, looking at starting the Certificate (C01-C05).
Because of my time line it maybe that I have to do some modules at the current 2006 sylabus and then some at the new 2011 sylabus. Can I combine them to get the overall certificate or do they all have to be the same sylabus?
I understand you can take 2006 sylabus till June 2012, but cant start the 2011 syllabus until october 2011?
thanks,
Jason.
Hi,
I am about to do the CBA exams but have read that a lot of the exam questions bear little resemblence to the study text and revision kits.
Is this an accurate potrayal ?
I am using BPP study text / revision kits and I have the CIMA versions as well.
Hi there,
I've recently bought the CIMA's Official Text book for C5 (Fundamentals of Ethics, Corporate Governance and Business Law, 4th Edition). I no longer need the book and it is in brand new condition. Only used for a few chapters (some hightlighted). Bought it for £29.99 and selling it for £18.
Please send me a message if anyone is interested in purchasing. I'm in London, UK.
Cheers,
Hi All,
I am selling my certificate level resources (study text, practise and revision kit, MCQ cards).
They are all BPP study materials which I have found very useful when learning the course. I have passed C01, C04, C05 modules first time. Hopefully, I will pass C02 first time, all I need to do is book the exam.
Majority of the resources are in very good condition.
I have placed them on Amazon website. Please follow the below link.
Hi
I have C05 study materials for sale. The set consists of:
- passcards (some text highlighted)
- revision kit (some text highlighted and written on pencil)
- CD (used once, but as good as new)
I studied the syllabus by reading through the passcards and then attempted questions in the revision kit, as textbook was too thick to read through. Then attempted the mock exam on the CD and passed with 80%. I sat the exam last year (eg 2009).
I have now finished my certificate level, and m selling my books to move on to the next level. The only exam I ddin't do was C03 as I had an exemption.
What you get
The resources I have will be sufficient for somebody planning to take C01,C02,C04 & C05 through self study. I never studied CIMA, or any of the subjects before (I'm an engineer!) and managed fine with just these books.
Hey,
Has anyone got their CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting Certificate yet?
Just wondering coz it's been about 5 weeks after results now, and I believe if we don't receive it within 6 weeks after results, we might have to pay a fee?
I am currently looking at the option of moving from ACCA to CIMA for the upcoming exam session in November but I can't seem to find the information I'm looking for. I just keep going around in circles on the webpage. I'm a bit confused in regards to the Operational Level, is this the same as the certificate in business accounting? Or do I have to do the certificate in business accounting and then go on to do the Operational Level in order to get the CIMA professional qualification?
Thanks in advance for your help!
I completed the certificate level exams last summer (2009) with homestudy and happy to pass on the materials. These are official CIMA study materials, bought from CIMA Publishing.
