    Hi folks

Please forgive me if I have posted this on the wrong thread & I would be grateful if you could point out which thread I should go to -

Anyway, I graduated from university based in the Wet Midlands about 20 years ago with a BSc Combined Studies.  It was a non honours degree.  The degree was made up of modules taken from the Operational Research, Computing, and Finance sectors.

I have been working in the investment sector for the past 5-6 years in hedge funds and private equity. As we have all seen the markets have shown this area to be vulberable to large changes such as restructuring, redundancies, loss of bonus, reduced earnings etc.

I am an ACMA and have been qualified for 2 years with a lot of varied experience behind me as an Accountant. I am now thinking of a move in a new direction where I can use my CIMA qualification but really enjoy what I do and do something more people orinetated.

I'm wondering if anybody knows what will happen if you fail one of the strategic exams in Nov 09 sitting given that the syllabus is changing?  Do we get another chance to re-sit this syllabus or will it mean 'starting afresh'?  And if so, just the failed subject(s) or all 3?

P9 is virtually a foregone conclusion for me!!!!

    Thanks
