Hi all,
We'll soon be launching three new groups - one for each of the three pillars of the professional qualification: enterprise, financial and performance.
These groups will be ones you can stay in as you move through the operational, management and strategic levels.
With the benefit of hindsight – looking back to when CIMAsphere launched in July 2009 – it’s clear that predicting the success of a group on an online community like this is more of an art than a science. Some common group building blocks are reliable predictors though. One such building block centres on the etiquette of being a good host.
Welcome to our new regular item on CIMAsphere where we celebrate those group leaders who have played an active part in making CIMAsphere a vibrant, active community. There are over 50 groups on CIMAsphere - many of them student and member-run - and some are really buzzing.
We have the issue where we are consolidating 7 ERP's and 11 business units (all owned by the same legal entity in the UK) which currently trade with each other using various different pricing rules. Some are cost + freight, other make a good margin on these sales.
We will move to one shared virtual warehouse so potentially we can "transfer" this stock however this is cause some emotive discussion as there are some business units who genuinely add value to a product and wouldn't therefore get the benefit.
CIMA Sphere has landed in New Zealand with a Group set up for members and students to share thoughts and idea's. Out here on the edge the CIMA in New Zealand group will allow everyone to keep in touch with what's going on and provide a meeting place. Follow the link to join today!!

I wanted to give you an update about changes we are making to the Groups. We have over 30 groups on CIMAsphere now, and some of them are getting really big, while others are growing gradually.
