Hi I was thinking of doing tax returns for my brother in law who is a pilot for a well know Irish airline.
I assume I need to register as a member in practice here but do I need to register anywhere else in Ireland.
Also if anyone can recommend any refresher books and tax software that could help it would be much appreciated.
I’m delighted that UCC will be the Irish representatives in the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2010 final, to be held in Malaysia on the 5-6 August 2010. Here are my thoughts on our success in the Ireland final and our aims for future success.
How did your team work together throughout the competition and what resources / support did you have?
I am starting my CIMA studies and I wonder if anyone could recommend a good school/course preparing for the operational level exams?
I graduated from DBS (Accounting & Finance) last year and I wasn't 100% happy with the quality of studies there. I also heard mixed opinions regarding CIMA in DBS, but only through friends of friends, so I haven't really spoken with anyone who actually does CIMA there.
Are any of you studying there? Or maybe in BPP? Which school is better for the 1st level?
Many thanks!
Barbara
Dear all,
Having been studying CIMA for many years i was genuinely dreading P8-Financial Analysis (now F2).I used Dublin based ATS with Ken O`Sullivan and passed in November 2009 on my second attempt.I have to say that Ken is imho an extremely competent and gifted lecturer who imparts his knowledge on this subject in a very exam focused style. His personal style is interactive and amusing but definitely gets results as was the case for me.
Hi All
I am am hoping to start study for P1 very shortly. Likely to prepare a little over xmas. If there is anyone who would be interested in group / team study then i would more than welcome the idea.. I find going through material with another person/s is much quicker and beneficial as can bounce idea's of one another.
Anyone interested?
Carrie

Hi all, is anyone starting into CIMA certificate studies in limerick region?
I'm plannig on signing up in LCBS, limerick college of buisness studies, tomorrow. i have not yet decided on taught or distance learning. Any advise?
Is it crazy to pay 2,800 euro ( or 1,500 distance learning) on 5 mondules which you could just study for at home for a fraction of the money?

Can anyone advise me the best institution to study P1 in Dublin/Cork? Thanks.

Can anyone reliably inform me which is the best institution to study P6 in? I've heard conflicting viewpoints.
Thanks
Hi Everyone
Is there anyone in the Limerick or South Tipp area that is looking to team up with a study partner? I sat p7 + p8 in May and didn't expect the papers to be so difficult. So I would say I will be repeating! Teaming up with someone else would be great.
Hello,
can anyone out there please tell me they know where I might be able to get financial aid for studying full time in Ireland.
If you want a grant from the VEC you need to be have lived here since the 31st of October 2008, and then it needs to be a full time course such as a CIT. BPP does not fall into the category.
