Heres are a few questions:
1. if anyone know any university that offers MBA/MAsters program for CIMA members for low fees to date for oversea members, please list. It could be:
a) normal course
b) distance learning/online course
I have come across universities who are charging around pounds 4k to uk locals while pounds 10k and above for overseas, which i think is too expensive
2. Which masters degree usually you go for.. after getting qualified?

Hi,
I didn't know where to post this request but I am currently studying for an MBA (CIMA exams didn't put me off studying forever!) and I’d be eternally grateful if you could spare me 5-10 minutes (possibly less if you are quick!) to complete my online questionnaire and offer feedback as I have never designed a questionnaire before and have been struggling with this part of my MBA dissertation.
Ive been working for almost 8 years & now in a Managerial position. Have few cheap business & HRM diplomas which are not recognized anywhere, however I was selected to do MBA by some Universities after considering my experience & all..
Hi all,
I found a link on this page

Yeah, its Aston university. Has anyone experienced it to get BSc in professional
development?
I think they would too charge high cost for the fees and exemptions. I m really interested in doing a respectable degree beside CIMA, but im gone nuts right here..what to do?
Lagos, Nigeria, July 11, 2011. After circling the capital city for an hour waiting for the down to pour its last drop I finally arrived on Nigerian Soil. Fresh from my MBA class on Operations Management I now viewed the world in terms of process flows, bottle necks and cycle times, so you can imagine my glee at the opportunity to informally audit a process flow from hell, enter Lagos Terminal 1.
Touchdown, 09:41 Dubai International Airport, Dubai, UAE. After a pleasant night flight on Emirates I arrived in Dubai with two of my classmates from the subcontinent, a surprisingly empty airport greeted us with friendly staff and sulking customs officials, as you will notice in Dubai, Emiratis generally populate the gentry class and enjoy much leisure in their lifestyle but some unfortunate sods have to be stationed at the customs desks for which they are visibly resentful.
Touchdown, 08:38 Indira Ghandi International Airport, Delhi, India.
Taking advice from my travel packet I drew some Rupee’s at an ATM and ordered a pre-paid taxi to my hotel in the Janpath district, exiting the airport I cast my gaze on dozens of post-paid taxi’s (yes,They actually call them that!).
MBA in a can is a tongue in cheek Martian’s view of MBA candidates and the broad syllabi which they enjoy, endure, explore and store inside the tool belts with which they graduate.
Nowadays there are many goodies that you can “get in a can”, and this illustrated guide through my own MBA journey aims to give you a taste of the global immersion which is a part of a unique MBA which is offered by Duke University’s Fuqua School of Management.
Folks, I am planning to take CMGA (yet to decide date) - wondering anyone around east london / london area or any study group around?
Thanks.
Hi
I am about to take my F3 exam this week with the view of completing the CIMA qualification early next year.
I have been encouraged by my employer to then study for an MBA as it is regarded as a 'higher' qualification.
I have read posts all over the net trying to see whether this statement is true? I am slightly confused as CIMA offer a route for MBA holders where by they need to complete the Strat papers and T4 exam to gain full CIMA qualification. On this basis, is the CIMA qualification not regarded as more substantial and rewarding?
Shanghai is in the rearview mirror and London is our next pit stop in the grand prix circuit which is the Duke Cross Continent MBA which I’m proud to be a part of.
I’ve always internally debated the managerial value of an MBA, with my cynical side chirping in my ear that the program is a formality and it’s all about getting in, networking, getting the pedigree and climbing back onto the hamster wheel of capitalism to turn and churn.
I have an MBA and I'm in Private Banking (currently - don't know how long I'll continue!) but I'm considering doing my CMGA. Does anyone have any thoughts on potential career paths after completion? If it's worth it?
Also, study-wise, I'm expecting a heavy load... any thoughts on best methods?
Thanks!
Dear People,
I am starting an active group for people who hold an MBA and are keen in pursuing CIMA. I myself am an MBA from States and found this track in January 2010. I have already been exempted from 11 courses up to managment level. If you are interested in holding an occasional discussion about yourself and your aspirations then you are welcome to join.
Hi to all
I have learnt from CIMA website that the CIMA has offered 11 exemptions to MBA degree holder if the candidiates manage to pass just one paper i.e. thru CMGA route. The cost of whole package is 500 pound sterlings which includes your CIMA student registration fee, first annual subscription fee, one attempt at the CMGA exam and three CIMAstudy.com online study modules. I would like to see the views of students and members on this topic.
I wrote in my last blog about the current furore over accusations that MBA programmes lack of ethical content and code may have contributed to the current economic crisis.
