Hello,
I'm re-registering to study CIMA now (sitting in May 2011) but my initial fears were pehaps the length of time since my last study/exam have been now multiplied when I read about the syllabus changes.
Could some one please explain whether its ok to discuss only 4 issues in the report under the new syllabus T4 paper because of the additional section the examiner has introduced which is worth 10 marks.
the old syllabus the report was marked out of 100. But in the new syllabus there is only 90 marks available for the report. is it possible to pass topcima with a report that discusses only 4 issues?
the above subject is a new syllabus content added in 2010 syllabus
can any one explain what is meant by these words "non market strategy" and what are the "forms of corporate political activity"?
these concepts are related to the concepts of CSR but these concepts are not in the cima official study system.
those students who have the latest editions of BPP or kaplan E3 study text can help as these concepts may be properly explained in these books. In my country these books are not available
Hi,
Can anyone please tell me - CIMA official or not - how the old and new syllabus ties up exactly.
I previously studied for (but failed) papers P2, P5 and P8 under the old syllabus. I am going to start studying again but wonder if the new papers E2, F2 and P2 tie up exactly or will I need to purchase all new materials.
I have the full sets of notes, revision cards etc from Kaplan for old papers.
Thanks in advance
Lee
I missed one of my last managerial exams due to an unfortunate family incident.
Does anybody know if CIMA do any sort of exam resit outside of the May/November sessions?
I'd planned to complete my qualification in March 09 under the current syllabus but will now have to do the new syllabus strategic papers instead.
I know it's really unlikely that this is possible but any help/advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks.
Does anyone know if/when there will be study books available for the new syllabus?
Will there be an updated reading list, based on the new syllabus?
Cheers,
James
