I am studing in South Africa and wolud love to know if it is true that after qualifing as a CIMA member, i can be able to write board 2 of the Charted Accountant qualification and be a charted accounted. i will also love to know which are the exemptions i will get when i have done Bcom Accounting CA stream in university of capetown and honours in financial management in university of johannesburg
Hey Southern Africa CIMA students- please kindly advise-Why can't CIMA arrange a CIMA/ UNISA BCom Management Accounting top up degree for CIMA students ( Southern Africa / even international) who have an Advanced Diploma
It looks like there is only one way option for UNISA Bcom students who want CIMA but nothing for CIMA students who want UNISA Undergraduate Degree
Don't you guys need a UNISA BCom Degree- a top up one? Heh?
May someone kindly advise
It is a normal trait of ‘qualified accountants (and other professionals)’ to display their qualifications and sometimes education - degrees. Also we should not assume that all holders of such a qualification do indeed ‘broadcast’ such facts. Equally does the display of holding a qualification mean that they can practise all the elements of any prescribed body of knowledge?
I wrote in my last blog about the current furore over accusations that MBA programmes lack of ethical content and code may have contributed to the current economic crisis.
Hi everyone,
I am currently a CIMA student in the UK and was wondering if anybody could shed some light on CIMA qualified career prospects in the United Arab Emirates, in countries like Dubai.
Is CIMA a recognised qualification over there or is the CPA preferred? I don't know much about the CPA but have seen it in job adverts.
Thanks
Shah
