    Hi,

I am looking to make contact with people with knowledge of EU countries for some reseach I am doing. I am interested in the comparitive cost of government and the impact on the private sector in each of the EU countries. Due to the number of different languages this is quite a challenge. Any help would be appreciated and I would return the favour,

In the current difficult economic conditions it's more important than ever to ensure that scarce resources are focussed on projects that will produce significant benefits.  Project portfolio management (PPM) is one way organisations can select projects and programmes that will deliver real value to the organisation.

    Hi,

I didn't know where to post this request but I am currently studying for an MBA (CIMA exams didn't put me off studying forever!) and I’d be eternally grateful if you could spare me 5-10 minutes (possibly less if you are quick!) to complete my online questionnaire and offer feedback as I have never designed a questionnaire before and have been struggling with this part of my MBA dissertation.

It seems that people that undertake advisory or management accounting roles are better prepared for leadership in finance and this is now backed by some large scale global research.

The CIMA Centre of Excellence at the University of Bath School of Management is researching finance transformation and the development of the finance function and its people and found that finance leadership roles require an interplay of both technical finance skills and business or commercial competencies.

I would like to obtain some research information to benchmark various finance functions based on full time employee (FTE) basis. i.e. accounts payable FTEs for a given volume with some level of comlexity identified.

Obviously I do understand the research infromation would be subject to systems, complexity etc.  If any one could assist in providing some links it would be much appreicated.

Blogs are strange beasts, with the informality of a conversation, but the durability (and searchability) of any information published on the web. Since my blog last week - in which I quoted the statistic that 95% of product costs are fixed at design stage - I've been consumed with guilt that I didn't provide more information about that statistic.
