Does anybody know when we can expect the 2011 qualified salary survey to be released?

Since it was launched in 2009, CIMA’s global members salary survey has provided an invaluable tool for CIMA members and their employers to benchmark pay, benefits and other working practices. The 2010 survey is no exception.

    Hi all,

Our 2010 members' Salary Survey has been released and makes for very interesting reading. You can get all the details (and the breakdown for different countries) here.

    Hi all,

I am considering moving to Singapore after becoming a qualified CIMA member and am having trouble working out the sort of salary I could expect.

CIMA does provide some useful salary surveys, but these do not cover Singapore unfortunately.  Does anyone know if there are plans to extend these surveys to other countries?

We all know money (of course the love of it) is the root of all evil, not so much when workers are paid by the hour according to Professor Jeffrey Pfeffer of Stanford.

Money makes people happy, and more so for workers paid by the hour than by salary, according to researchers at Stanford and the University of Toronto. The relationship between money and happiness is stronger for people paid by the hour because they are more often reminded of how much they earn, and this makes money more salient in their thinking.

    Hi everyone,

I am currently a CIMA student in the UK and was wondering if anybody could shed some light on CIMA qualified career prospects in the United Arab Emirates, in countries like Dubai.

Is CIMA a recognised qualification over there or is the CPA preferred? I don't know much about the CPA but have seen it in job adverts.

    Thanks

    Shah

Just wondering if anyone else out there has been forced to take a pay cut for 2009?

I was looking through the CIMA part qualified salary survey for 2009 and am so way off their average salaries that I could cry.

I am working full time for 10 years + and am hoping to sit stragtegic exams in Nov.

    Some help/guidance please!!
