I am selling a bundle of the strategic level study and practice and revision kits from BPP for the latest syllabus. All available for only £80 for pick up from Liverpool Street or Newbury Park.

Examiner has commented in the Post Exam Guide that a large number of students did well in the Nov 2011 E3 Exam yet its Global pass rate was one of the lowest (43%).  You must be thinking how you can improve and pass in the upcoming resits late Feb/ early March.  Let's look at the examier's comment by question.

I narrowly missed my E2 exam in the November'11 sitting, but I am confident of passing it in the March'12 resits.

I was hoping to start my strategic level and enter the May'12 sittings, but will I be able to enter?  Will there be a window from receiving my result before the exam entry closes without paying late-entry fees and would I have to enter all three at the same time?

I'm all set to take Strategic in May, fingers crossed, if manage to pass all the managerial level in January results.

I wanted to get ahead of the game however and so wanted to start reading up on the topics involved or studying some of the syllabi. I'll be attending classes in February so will get textbooks etc then therefore I'm not really wanting to buy any at the moment (but would consider any offers...) so was looking to find any free resources that may be available online.

Trying to locate some materials for the strategic level exams. Willing to pay a reasonable figure depending on condition etc but I don't have much spare cash so whatever can be offered!

 Live in Edinburgh so can pick up from any location nearby. Would pay postage costs as well for textbooks etc.

Over the last couple of years, I have battled with the Managerial level finally passing them all after the May 2011 sitting.

So the November 2011 sitting will be my first attempt at the Strategic level....

I have attended no courses with BPP, Kaplan, etc for these exams. I work 40-50 hours a week and I despise the thought of attending college at the weekends when I could be with my family!

With 22 days of study left until the P3 exam, what advice does the examiner have for the big day?

When I started my CIMA qualification I was exempt from the old P7 & P8 (F1 & F2). This was due to my degree which I finshed a good few years ago. I've since past the others and am now due to sit the strategic level exams.

I just passed my last management level exam on a resit - F2 with 52% (thank god as I did a lot of work in one month got 33% in May had a poor lecturer in BPP Dublin). 

Question is what do I do now?

Is there a benefit / preference for starting one of the modules before an other?

Eg, would spending a couple of weeks on E3 before tackling P3 or F3 be worthwhile?

Suppose I wondering are there links / commonality between modules at any point or should I just alternate the study nights?

Is anybody else struggling to get back in to the swing of revision for the September Resits? I sat Strategic level for the first time in May 2011 and passed P3 and literally just missed the other two papers.

...I seemingly can only do a classroom course towards T4.

I enquired with BPP that I can't see anything for a Sept 2011 online course which I'd prefer to do as I can then do it in my own time with other commitments, only to be told they don't run one for Sept.

From their website it looks like its the same with Kaplan too...seems like online courses and distance learning are bit of a no-no for T4 first time around. Does anyone know if any CIMA learning partners are offering online courses for the Sept 2011 T4 exam?
