    What is your time plan for T4?

    Mine is, for 3 hours 20 minutes

    1. Reading time 20" -concentrate, highlight sparingly, jot S,W,O,T where obvious.

    2. List clearly Four Key Issues, One (or two) Minor Issue/s and Three Ethical Issues

    3. Rank them with a number

    4. List (in shorthand) up to five diversity examples for each issue including one for the introduction. 

    =5" all together (the examiner has said rank does not matter as long as judgement is good)

  • Time scales form 'Currently with assessors'?

    I realise that this has been answered in a round about way by many people on different discussions, but how long have people had to wait for comfirmation of their membership from being told that their application is 'Currently with assessors'? I know that CIMA say it should take 4-6 weeks, but I've noticed that several people seem to get theirs back within 3 weeks ish! I'm going on leave at the end of August and, if my application comes back at 4 weeks, I'll hear before I go, othewise I'll have to wait till September!!!
  • Application for membership approval timescale

    Hi all,

     I sent off my application for membership (i.e., T4 extended CV, etc.) last Friday via snail mail.  Does anyone know the answer to the following two questions:

    1) Do CIMA normally send an e mail to confirm that they have received an application?

    2) How long does it normally take for them to reach a decision?

  • Strategic exams pass criteria to be changed?

    Who thinks that the criteria to pass the Strategic exams should be changed to the following?

    In order to pass one needs to pass with a minimum of 65%, BUT students should be allowed an additional 1 to 1.5 hours to write.

    Hi,

    I'm looking to start studying this term to do the Certificate level. I will be studying from home and have a full time job (not in accounting). The centre I will be part of runs evening classes that allow students to complete the course in 1 term. I'm wondering to try and do the same on my own...

    Does anyone have any insight into how long it took them/is taking them, and if it's a bit too much to  try and do with a full time job as well.
